What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Nabi ("Nabi," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies, like browser local storage, to recognize you when you visit our website and dashboard. It's separate from our Privacy Policy (what personal information we collect and how we use it) and our Terms & Conditions (the rules for using Nabi and our SMS program). This page is specifically about the small pieces of data stored in your browser.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser when you visit it, so the site can remember things about your visit, like whether you're signed in, the next time you load a page. Cookies set by the site you're visiting are "first-party"; cookies set by a different organization whose service is embedded on that page are "third-party." Browsers also support similar technologies, such as local storage, that serve the same purpose but stay on your device rather than being sent with every request. Nabi relies mainly on local storage rather than traditional cookies, so this policy covers both.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

• Hosting & security. Our hosting provider may set a small number of technical cookies needed to route requests to the right server and protect the site against abuse. These aren't set by Nabi's own code, can't be turned off from within our site, and don't identify you personally.
• Sign-in & session (local storage). When you sign in, as clinic staff using the dashboard or as a customer booking an appointment, Nabi uses Supabase Authentication to keep you signed in. Your session token is stored in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, but serves the same purpose: it's read each time you load a page, and clearing it (or your browser's site data) signs you out.
• Preferences (local storage). Nabi remembers your chosen display language and, on the clinic-directory page, a short list of clinics you've recently viewed. Both are stored in local storage on your device, not on our servers, and only Nabi reads them.
• Analytics. Nabi uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure page-load speed. Both are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and don't follow you across other websites. Nabi uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tool is installed on this site. You can turn analytics off at the bottom of this page, and we'll remember that choice on this device.

First-party vs. third-party

Everything Nabi's own code stores in your browser (session token, language preference, recently viewed clinics) is first-party: set directly by cosmoai.tech and readable only by cosmoai.tech. The only third parties involved are ones you're redirected to for a specific action: Google, if you choose "Sign in with Google," and Stripe, if a clinic sends you to a hosted Stripe Checkout or billing portal page. Once you land on Google's or Stripe's own domain, their cookie practices apply, not ours. Nabi's messaging with clinics over Instagram happens through Meta's API on our servers, not through cookies in your browser.

Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage in their settings, and let you view what a site has stored. Because Nabi mainly uses local storage rather than cookies, a standard "block third-party cookies" setting won't change how Nabi works for you, but clearing your browser's site data for cosmoai.tech will sign you out, reset your language preference to English, and clear your recently-viewed clinics. Blocking local storage entirely will prevent you from staying signed in. A customer who no longer wants SMS or Instagram messages from a clinic using Nabi can opt out per our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. That's a messaging preference, not a cookie setting.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we make a material change to the cookies or similar technologies Nabi uses, including if we add analytics or advertising tools in the future.
